Testimonials
“This is the most clarifying thing I’ve ever learned about structure. It doesn’t replace Save the Cat—it explains why those beats matter when they matter.”
— Cameron Dale, screenwriter
“The Life & Death Model completely changed how I think about story. I now start every script by building the emotional spine first.”
— Conner S., writer/director
“I’ve taken 3 structure courses. This is the only one that got me excited again.”
— Philip Tali, screenwriter“Most books say things like “create vibrant characters” or “write visually,” but they rarely tell you how to do that in simple, practical terms. Jordan does. His tutorials are precise, detailed, and incredibly practical. It’s like getting a box of LEGO parts—you finally understand how the pieces work, and now you can build your own stories from the ground up.”
— Saeid Ghasemi, Award-winning screenwriter of “Blood Enough”

Why I Created the Life & Death Story Model™
I read all the books. I followed all the prompts. Used all the templates and maps and structural guides and I still created stories that didn’t quite work.
And that frustration haunted me.
I wanted to understand WHY. What - exactly - was I missing. So I began looking only for resources that were genuinely teaching me new and relevant insights. The Life & Death Story model is collection of the most profoundly transformative insights I’ve ever come across.
Initially, I invited fellow writers in on the development of L&D. I gave it to them for free and for over a year, I experiemented and honed and polished my process until quite literally everyone I worked with was excited and inspired by the results.
It’s not the same old thing repainted and presented in a novel new way. It’s an entirely new way to look at story architecture that explains itself. All of the terms used explain exactly their purpose, making it simple to learn and apply. Most importantly, it works.
7-day satisfaction promise: If you feel this course was not what you’d hoped it would be, I’ll refund you-no questions asked.
You don’t need to be a “natural” at structure.
You just need a system that speaks your language.
This is that system.
